Silent Auction Now Open, New “Rum & Riches Bingo,” and Film Credit Fundraiser Launches for Documentary Premiere
Dive Pirates Foundation is bringing its signature mix of purpose, pirate spirit, and unforgettable storytelling back to Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse for the 22nd Annual Dive Pirates Ball, taking place Saturday, February 21, 2026. The evening benefits Dive Pirates Foundation’s mission to help people with mobility challenges reclaim confidence, community, and freedom through adaptive scuba diving.
This year’s program features keynote speaker Isabel Perez Rios Bravo, a 2025 Dive Pirates
recipient, who will share her journey and the life-changing impact of adaptive diving. Guests can expect a high-energy night filled with celebration, camaraderie, and meaningful ways to support adaptive divers, from first breaths underwater to life-changing trips.
This Year’s Film Credit Fundraiser for Documentary Premiere
Dive Pirates has also launched a Film Credit Fundraiser leading up to the Ball, inviting supporters to purchase a credit and have their name (or a family name, company, or dedication) featured in the premiere credits of the Foundation’s newest documentary: Depth Unbound: Together Into The Blue.
The film marks the third installment in the Depth Unbound documentary series and will premiere at the Ball, capturing the resilience, joy, and community that adaptive diving makes possible. Proceeds from film credits directly support adaptive training, specialized equipment, recipient trips, and the buddy program.
The Silent Auction Is Live
The online Silent Auction is open now, making it easy for supporters to participate whether attending in person or cheering from afar. With standout items and experiences up for grabs, every bid helps fund adaptive training and the specialized gear that makes diving accessible.
Introducing “Rum & Riches Bingo”
Making its debut at this year’s Ball, Rum & Riches Bingo adds a fresh twist to the evening’s fun, designed to be easy to join, open to all guests, and packed with great prizes. It’s a simple, high-spirited way to jump in, laugh with your table, and make an immediate impact, one bingo card at a time.
“Every bid, every donation, and every film credit helps fund the specialized gear, training, and support that allows adaptive divers to experience freedom in the water,” said Col. Gregg Wentworth, President of Dive Pirates Foundation. “This Ball is where our community shows up in full force, and where generosity becomes transformation.”
