Keith Deutsch

Keith Deutsch Sergeant Keith Deutsch sustained an injury in the US Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. However, that never slowed him down. In addition to scuba, he also snowboards near his home of Denver. The Go Be Divers in Denver trained him. He joined the class of 2010.

Latseen Benson

Latseen Benson Sergeant Latseen Benson, a native Alaskan, served in the US Army as a Sergeant. A roadside bomb took most of both legs. Still active and a great swimmer Latseen naturally takes to scuba diving. He and his wife, Jessica, will be along for many more trips.

Shawn Monroe

Wounded from a mortar round in Iraq, Sergeant Shawn Monroe, an Army MP, lost one of his legs. His wife Kristi will be his adaptive buddy. They finished their certifications in the Caymans in the Spring of 2005.

Doug Moneymaker

Corporal Doug Moneymaker, ‘Ole 1 Leg Doug’, is a Dive Pirate and an Iraqi war veteran. He is a native of West Texas, where he hopes to return and finish college. He attended the first ever Dive Pirates Trip to Cayman Brac in April of 2005.
