Dive Pirates Foundation to Make Waves at DEMA Show 2024
The Dive Pirates Foundation is thrilled to announce its participation in the upcoming DEMA Show 2024, the premier event for the diving industry, in Las Vegas from November 19-22. As a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through scuba diving, the Dive Pirates Foundation is excited to share its mission, connect with industry leaders, and inspire a new wave of inclusive diving.
Connecting Communities through Inclusive Diving
Dive Pirates Foundation has been at the forefront of promoting adaptive scuba diving at DEMA for over a decade. Our mission is to support, train, and equip individuals with disabilities to experience the freedom and adventure of scuba diving. At DEMA Show 2024, we aim to:
- Showcase Our Impact: Share success stories of our divers and the transformative power of scuba diving in fostering independence, confidence, and community.
- Engage with Industry Leaders: Collaborate with dive equipment manufacturers, dive centers, and other non-profits to enhance accessibility and inclusion within the diving community.
- Expand Our Network: Build partnerships to further our reach and create more opportunities through Dive Pirate dive chapters for adaptive diving programs.
Exciting Booth Activities and Presentations
Visit our booth #5183 to learn more about Dive Pirates Foundation and participate in exciting activities, including:
- Take Part in the Treasure Hunt: Pirate hats, photo fun, and some great booty. Pick up a Dive Pirate hat with a secret QR code inside and start the hunt with any of the vendors on the map. Booty drawings on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 4:00 pm during the convention. Grand Prize Drawing Thursday at 4:30 pm
- Join the Crew: Find out how you can get involved, whether as a member, volunteer, donor, chapter, or sponsor, and help us expand the horizons for individuals with disabilities.

The Dive Pirates Foundation
A non-profit organization that impacts the lives of its recipients. These recipients include injured military, first responders, law enforcement, and others with mobile disabilities. Adaptive scuba diving fosters accomplishment, self-worth, and community. The Foundation trains, equips, and conducts dive trips year-round. The trips are to calm, warm-water locations for the safety of those with spinal cord injuries. They also allow for networking with facilities willing to empower all participants with compassion and adaptation. This brings a positive experience of diving, team building, leadership, and relationship building.
