Kevin Smith
Kevin Smith heard about the Dive Pirates during his rehab at TIRR. After a motorcycle accident caused a complete spinal cord injury resulting in paraplegia. With a background in diving before his accident. Kevin signed up for a Try-Dive event with the Dive Pirates at Seanic Ocean Systems; an engineering company in Katy, Texas with a large test tank. Feeling comfortable in the water, and enjoying meeting people with similar interests, he said “sign me up!”

The Seanic facility provided the perfect setting and amenities with a support staff that was great to work with. The experience with the dive pirates and Seanic has given me the confidence to expand my outdoor activities in a safe and comfortable environment.”
Kevin is now a SSI Classified Diver, training with Russell Potocki of DiveTech, Houston, TX
